It's the first day of July! I think we're going to start seeing a lot more picnics and BBQs around town. On to recap Monday and challenge Friday.
Let's start with Challenge Friday. I gave you; my readers the challenge to tell me the best book you have read. We didn't receive any responses, so while looks like I wont be making a list of some good books, I can give you a few good suggestions based on my favorite books read.
I have fallen in love with the Bluegrass and Bluegrass Brothers Series by Kathleen Brooks and the Surrender Series by Melody Anne.
Now onto recap Monday. Once again there wasn't anything special that happened. Friday we got our rental car after hubby crashed ours on Wednesday. We went grocery shopping and came home when I realized the tag expired June 2013. So we got up Saturday and went to get a new rental, to my surprise they put us in another car that expired June 2013. When we told them that, that tag expired as well, they looked at us like we had two heads and we didn't know what we were talking about. In the end we walked away with a rental car that didn't expire until 2014, lol, but the run around we got was exhausting. Time we got back home it was nap time, we layed in bed until about 4:30, when I finally decided to get up and take something for my headache. Then my husband decided to take us out to dinner. It was a special treat for us, since we don't go out very often.
Then Sunday I cleaned the kitchen and the kids room and did laundry to get ready for our Florida trip this week. I'm super excited and can't wait. I miss my family dearly and the short trips we have every few months are well needed.
