Well, it's that time again, HUNTING SEASON! I have a love-hate relationship with hunting season. I am a country girl so I love to go hunting. The feeling of sitting in a deer stand or tracking down hogs is one like no other. The same goes for how my husband feels as well & well truthfully he gets more time out than I do, due to having both kids.

So, we decided to take a vacation to Florida for the Fourth of July weekend. We had planned on going this weekend for the Hubby's birthday, but turns out he had off the 4th to the 7th. He got off early on the 3rd and I was ready to go by the time he got home, we loaded the car and took off! It was a fun weekend, besides everyone getting sick. Also to my surprise, my brother came down with his daughter also!
We got in on Wednesday night. Then Thursday morning we went to the parade that the city has. After that we started making our rounds to see all of our family. We went and visited my dad for a while. Since my nieces birthday is on the Fourth also we were able to see both my nieces and my step sister also. After a few hours at my dads we headed to my aunts house. Unfortunately my aunt and uncle were in the keys so we weren't able to see them, but my grandmother was there, along with my grandparents, and my great grandpa. We had some burgers and hotdogs and went swimming. That's when the sickness started. My niece was the first to get sick. After leaving my aunts we headed to go see my husbands dad, then after we headed to see the fireworks!

On Friday my mother had taken off and she offered to watch the kids. My brother, my husband, and I headed to the next city up and went to the mall and did some shopping or browsing lol. After that we hit up my favorite restaurant, Outback, to celebrate my birthday dinner. My grandmother was supposed to take us all out but things came up and it didn't work out that way. Even though my birthday isn't till August I wouldn't be back down till November.

On Saturday my mom and J baby ended up getting sick, having the same thing my niece had on Thursday. My mom ended up getting if Friday night and it just lasted through Saturday night. So we didn't do too much on Saturday. Then on Sunday we had planned on leaving and unfortunately R baby had caught the illness. Thankfully it only lasted 12 hours and then you were fine. It was crazy, came out of nowhere and only lasted 12 hours. Since we didn't wanna drive 6 hours with her puking the whole way we decided we would just stay another night and leave Monday, once she was feeling better.

Monday came and we headed home, got home around dinner time and decided to put the kids to bed early since it had been a long ride and a long weekend. To my surprise they both passed out pretty quickly. Then came Tuesday, thought I was gonna get back in the groove of blogging and everything, but nope, it was decided that it was my turn to be best friends with the porcelain throne. Slept the whole day away pretty much. That is for sure one of the downsides of living alone away from family. When your sick, there is no one to help with the kids. Thankfully J baby watched TV and played by himself all day and R baby was content in her crib watching TV and playing with some toys.

So now we're here today. We are getting back on Schedule and Friday I wanna know about your Fourth of July, so stay tuned for the post and

Well like I stated last night, we're backkkkkk!!!! A lot has been going on with us since we last posted. We are here tonight to update you on some of the events that have happened. Not only will we provide you with what we have been up to, we also have a few coupon codes for you guys to use. These will of course be featured on the amazing savings page. Well enough of all this, let get down to the catching up, just like any fine southern woman knows, we all love to ramble!

Since Easter week was so hectic with doing activities with the kids and spending our last week with daddy before he left Easter Sunday, we are just going to pile all of the last few days of activities into this one post. We will brief on putting together my nieces Easter basket, Dyeing Easter eggs, and then Easter Sunday. Saturday night we were supposed to plant "Magical Jelly Beans" but unfortunately we got home very late Saturday night from families house and I bought defective jelly beans (I really just forgot the giant lollipops) haha!

Last night we took our Easter bath. We were supposed to put together my nieces Easter basket, but we didn't get around to it. So while I boil eggs today we will be putting together her Easter basket, since we won't be dying eggs until daddy gets home anyways.

The bath did not go as planned at all. We had plans to do an Easter bath similar to this. However minus the window clings and minus the eggs.

Well we were on the right track to keep this Easter countdown with what we had planned. But today it got a little off. We had planned on Easter Picture and an Easter egg bath today, well Wednesday.

We did do our Easter pictures, however we didn't do the Easter bath.

So this is deffinatly a few days late, but we are still on track with our Easter countdown. On Tuesday we had plans to color some Easter pictures and that's just what we did.

I printed a blank Easter egg printable from a search on google and I let J baby go to town decorating his own Easter egg. I attempted to let R baby decorate her own egg as well, but she was more interested in eating the crayons and dropping them to watch mommy pick them up.

We started our countdown to Easter today & I couldnt be more happier with how well it turned out. We kicked off our countdown by making Mini Jello Eggs. J baby did a great job and need just a little of my assistance. This was a pretty easy thing to make and it was a great thing to start the week off with.

Easter is a week from today. I'm a holiday girl and love all holidays, now that I have kids, it just makes it that much better. This will be R babies second Easter and J babies fourth Easter.

Now that I am addicted to Pinterest, there are many things that I would love to do on holidays, but when the times comes, I just forget or get to busy or just forget to get the things I need from the store. However, this year I have made it a promise to myself to do anything that I plan. So with that being said, we are counting down to Easter with some fun Easter projects and games.

Well, on the account that it's 12:30 in the morning, J baby's birthday was yesterday! He turned three years old! We celebrated by having a birthday party for him in Florida with our families. He had such a great time, well I think we all did! The kids got to play on the park, the adults got to spend time watching their grand babies enjoy their selves  and well J baby got presents and cake!
