Since we moved a state away from our family in November, we visit for a weekend to a week in January, March, August, November, and December. Then on the months we dont visit, we meet my mom half way so she can pick up the kids and take them back for the weekend. Our half way point is three hours roughly, making the whole trip roughly 6 hours. As anyone wish kids knows, that is a long ride. Then anyone with a husband should know, they hate stopping.... or maybe it's just mine. Anyone else's husband hates to stop?

We have a bag that stays in the car called our "Kiddie Car Kit." This kit contains everything the kids need. This kit stays under the dash at the passenger sides feet, so it stays cool Wanna know what's in our box? Well that's what i'm fixing to tell you!

There are many variations to this on Pinterest, but all contain things for adults and kids. I have yet to find one just for babies/kids. Hints the reason why I thought of my own.

Packed & organized
Here is the list of what is in our bag, all of this can be bought at your local store. We actually keep all of our stuff in a bag that we found at our local Walmart. It's actually a Stanley Tool bag that we picked up for less than $10.00.

A few small toys.

Two Arnold Palmer drink pouches.
Toothbrush for each kid.
Comb & brush.
Bink. (Even tho neither of my kids take one, I do carry one just in case.)
Baby laxative.
Teething tablets.
Teething gel (day & night).
Pediacare allergy.
Children's ibuprofen.
Gas drops.
Saline spray & nasal aspirator.
Children's sudafed.
Boogies wipes.
Hand sanitize wipes.
Syringe & bottle plunger.

This should be pretty much everything you would carry in your diaper bag but since my kids are now a year and three, I no longer carry a diaper bag. Well a big one packed with formula, bottles, water, diapers, wipes, oh you get the point!!! I just carry two small bags, one for each kid, including a few diapers, a pack of wipes, and a change of clothes. I picked up the bags at the dollar store for a buck each.
